TOP VENUES SO FAR

Three years within the wedding industry, so far I have fallen in love with a few venues that stand out to me - I agree that the couple on the day always compliments the venue, almost like a barista on the day at the coffee shop that you like.. if you understand my terrible way of explaining that

Here are my top FOUR venues in Australia so far!

CLARENDON HOUSE, Tasmania

Built early 1800s, the venue speaks for itself - its rough around the edges but beautiful in many ways - Melbourne based couples could compare this to our version of Werribee Mansion or Abbotsford Convent. I was fortunate enough to fly down to Launceston for the amazing wedding of Flick & Richard. Tasmanias very own Bek Burrows was working hard behind the scenes with her team from the styling of the ceremony to the lay out of their formalities.

If you are planning a winter wonderland, this is the place to be - get those warm blankets and a glass of red! all is well

THE PIGGERY, Victoria

A warm and rustic type of place, fits in well with its mysterious location within the Dandenong location right next to the ever so beautiful Alfred Nicholds Gardens - a former piggery, the Burham Beeches is now destined to be the best of the best in the culinary side of things - as a wedding venue, it is an intimate and personal space that allows guests to bond over food and wine at every moment. Spots across the venue allow everyone to explore the grounds.

The food is like no other in Victoria, a unique approach and a proper enviroment - Piggery is my number one in many ways!

GREENFIELDS, Victoria

I had no idea Greenfields existed, I did know that Albert Park was host to a few good wedding and venue spots for events but having the opportunity to spend the night with the awesome duo that was Alex & Verity really brought this place to life - a summer sunset, peaking through the front window and the late warm breeze allowing guests to sit outside with their drinks - BEST venue with a view!

The beauty about this spot is that you are able to do so much near by for ceremonies, photo locations or even preperation spots - just PLEASE avoid booking a few days or weeks before the Grand Prix!

SHOWTIME, Victoria

Nothing better than feeling welcome, feeling apart of the team - even as Vendor we all come and go, but to be treated like one of their own is always my favorite part about the crew at Showtime! A warehouse style celebration, enough space to fit a small jet plane and a live band of 12  - oh and they own/operate more than one venue so check that out
